Everlasting Fall 10/20/19
Written by. Gina Harvey/Sweets Cierra The fall breeze Is like a dance to me Watching the drifting of the leaves As they float to the streets Oh how I love the soft colors on the ground At peace as the leaves twirl around Daydreaming of what life could be While I feel the love of autumn at my feet The warmth of the sun And the cool nights moon Meets half way As the flowers debloom The animals prepare for the harsh winter instore With hibernation in the air Settling in to keep warm With plenty beauty to see With all the scenery And the air so crisp Watching the leaves as they drift But not a moments to spare So we ignore the air The leaves The animals The trees Not seeing the gloriousness at all Gotta run and just can’t stay for fall But then we stop and think How wonderful it would be To play in the leafy grass And let the day pass Check out my blog for more content called "Unique Beauty" |
